While the term “assclown” may more generally apply to a goofy, comical person who is simply known for outlandishly dumb acts, I love using the term almost exclusively with those fictional characters who are not only the silliest, but often the most skilled and effective in their respective universes. Above is a selection of the most fantastically heroic fools who succeed in spite, or perhaps because, of their assclown faults. Dig them all.
