It may well be true that very many self-described libertarians tend to be of a such a stubborn independent bent that they themselves might suffer from their aversion to community. In what situation(s) is it morally just to threaten another at the point of a gun or other such deadly force?

• One seeks to injure or kill the target due to some anger one feels for that person.
• One’s life is first morally unjustly threatened by the target, in such a way as to be on the same level as being threatened with deadly force.
• One hopes to take posession of the target’s money or property for one’s own benefit.
• One hopes to take posession of the target’s money or property to use in a way that one deems would help the target.
• One hopes to take posession of the target’s money or property to use in a way that one deems would help a third person or group.
• One hopes to influence the private activities, thoughts and/or beliefs of the target.
• Other. (Do tell…)
• It would not be morally just in any situation.
